Abstract:
To provide a glass cloth, which is excellent in handling performance with less corrugation during prepreg coating, has resin impregnation property, allows a resin layer to be uniform on front and rear sides of the grass cloth, and has thickness of 16 μm or less, and a prepreg using the glass cloth, and a substrate for print wiring board.SOLUTION: A glass cloth is formed by weaving warp and weft that are glass yarns made of a plurality of glass filaments and has thickness of 8 μm or more and 16 μm or less. Average mass per unit length of the warp is 1.40×10-6 kg/m or more and below 1.80×10-6 kg/m. Average mass per unit length of the weft is 1.80×10-6 kg/m or more and 4.00×10-6 kg/m or less. Ratio of the average mass per unit length of the weft to the average mass per unit length of the warp (weft/warp ratio) is more than 1.20 and 1.80 or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
