To provide a glass fiber fabric capable of extending a lifetime of a light source by diffusing heat generated from the light source.
A lighting cover 4, which is disposed at a position lower than a light source 2, is made by stretching a glass fiber fabric 8 having air permeability on a frame 7. This glass fiber fabric 8 has a structure comprising a glass fiber original fabric filled with a fluorine resin. The glass fiber original fabric can be formed by mock leno weaving warp 9 and weft 10 of a glass fiber having a yarn count of 75 to 170 tex that is not subjected to the opening treatment so that three warp or weft are combined in one set. A weaving density is 20 to 40/25 mm for both warp 9 and weft 10. A weight of original fabric is 300 to 420 g/m2. A proportion of a filler resin to the total weight of the glass fiber original fabric is 15 to 35 wt%. The void rate is 5 to 38%. The glass fiber fabric thus obtained has necessary translucency while keeping a function of suppressing dazzling-light. The heat generated from the light source 2 is diffused from the glass fiber fabric 8, which can suppress the deterioration of a stabilizer in a fluorescent tube due to heat and finally enables the extension of the lifetime of the light source 2.
