Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass plate processing apparatus that can convey a glass plate fast from one processing position to the other one processing position to shorten a tact time of a processing operation and to improve productivity of processed glass plates more.SOLUTION: In addition to a cutting part 2 at a processing position for forming a cutting line on a glass plate 5, a grinding part 3 at a processing position for grinding a peripheral edge of the glass plate 5, a bending and breaking part 4 at a processing position between the cutting part 2 and the grinding part 3, and a glass plate conveying part 6 for conveying the glass plate 5, a glass plate processing apparatus 1 comprises a taking-in conveyor 7 as a carry-in part for a glass plate arranged on a carry-in side to the cutting part 2, and a taking-out conveyor 8 as a carry-out part for a glass plate arranged on a carry-out side from the grinding part 3. An elevation apparatus 91 provided to a conveyance shuttle 80 of the glass plate conveying part 6 comprises a slider crank mechanism 99, which is driven by an elevation motor to move up and down a suction pad 90.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
