Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass product manufacturing device capable of recovering an impurity contained in molten glass.SOLUTION: A glass product manufacturing device 100 comprises: a feeding port 10 where a glass material is fed therethrough; a glass fusing furnace 20; at least one nozzle 41; heating means 70 which heats the glass fusing furnace 20 and the nozzle 41; and at least one cooling means 80. In the glass fusing furnace 20, at least an inner wall surface thereof is made of a fire-resistant material. Also, the glass fusing furnace 20 is communicated with the feeding port 10 and generates molten glass by melting the fed glass material. The nozzle 41 is installed at a lower section of the glass fusing furnace and discharges the molten glass. The cooling means 80 is arranged between a high temperature region where the molten glass reaches the maximum fusion temperature and a nozzle 41 in the glass fusing furnace 20 and cools the molten glass to a temperature lower than the maximum fusion temperature.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
