To provide a golf ball, which is excellent in productivity and flying performance.
The golf ball 2 compares a spherical core 4, an intermediate layer 6 located on the outside of this core 4, and a cover 8 located on the outside of this intermediate layer 6. The intermediate layer 6 consists of resin composition. The resin composition includes an ionomer resin (A) of 100 pts.mass and fatty acid metal salt (B), which is more than 25 pts.mass and below 100 pts.mass. The ionomer resin (A) is a neutralization product by metal ions of terpolymer of ethylene, α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid, in which a carbon number is three or more and eight or less, and α,β-unsaturated carboxylic acid ester. The carbon number of fatty acid metal salt (B) is 18 or more and 30 or less. The mass W of the intermediate layer 6 is larger than the mass Wc of the cover 8. The sum (Tm+Tc) of the thickness Tm of the intermediate layer 6 and the thickness Tc of the cover 8 is 1.0 mm or more and 3.0 mm or less.
