Abstract:

To improve the blocking resistance of a graft copolymer, to improve large-size moldability in a thermoplastic resin composition using the graft copolymer and to provide a molded product having good plating and coating properties.

The graft copolymer (A) is obtained as follows. A monomer mixture containing an aromatic vinylic monomer and a vinyl cyanide monomer is subjected to graft polymerization with a rubber-like polymer. A rigid copolymer (B) containing an aromatic vinylic monomer unit and a vinyl cyanide monomer unit and having 80-90 mass% reaction conversion rate and 1,500,000-4,500,000 weight-average molecular weight in an amount of 0.1-30 pts.mass is added to 100 pts.mass of the resultant rubber-containing graft copolymer (a).
