Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a ski pole which can sufficiently withstand against tough handling of ski poles by a layer who strongly grasps the grip with his thumb and forefinger, and pushes the grip with the thumb set on the upper rear part of the upper flange part of the grip, and which has a strength which can passes a test of resistance against spearing of an impact part, specified in the JIS.

CONSTITUTION: The grip of a ski pole is composed of a rear part B facing the human body when it is gripped, and a front part facing A in opposite to the human body. A part extending rearward from a substantially center of an upper flange part 2 of the grip at minimum, or a whole part extending upward from a position to which the forefinger of the hand grasping the grip 1 at maximum is made of a material which is harder than a material of which the other part of the grip body is made.
