Abstract:

To provide a groove correction working tool for smoothly working an edge part after primary working for fluid bearing sleeve.

This groove correction working tool is equipped with: plural groove sliding steel balls 11A, 11E, and 11G having larger diameters than the widths of the grooves 2A and 2B, and a shaft member 15, retained so that the contact circle diameters of the balls 11A, 11E, and 11G can be slightly larger than the groove mouth part inner diameter of the sleeve 2, in accordance with dynamic pressure grooves 2A and 2B primarily worked in the inner peripheral surface of a fluid bearing sleeve 2. The balls 11A, 11E, and 11G and at least the holding part of a shaft member 15 are composed of material harder than that of the sleeve 2, to smoothly work the edge parts 2AA and 2BB of the grooves 2A and 2B worked primary by imparting rotational and axially directional movement to the member 15.
