Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the clogging of slime while smoothly rotating a bit for excavating the ground and an excavating rod by obviating a change into clay by agitating slime by projecting sections projected from the outer circumferences of the bit and the excavating rod.
CONSTITUTION: A ground excavator 10 turns a bit 11 and an excavating rod 12 while conducting excavation as forwarding pressure water into water supply holes 13 in the pit 11 and the excavating rod 12. Slime is generated at the front end section of the bit 11 by rock pieces generated by the crushing of the ground by the pit 11 and forwarded water, and the slime is carried to an upper section along the outer circumferential surfaces of the bit 11 and the rod 12, and discharged onto a ground surface. Slime sent to the side section of the bit 11 from the front end of the bit 11 is agitated by projecting sections 11a, 12a at the time of the discharge operation, thus preventing the change into clay of slime. The smooth conveyance and discharge of slime and the rock pieces are ensured. Accordingly, the collapse of an inwall can be obviated.
