Title:
GROUND WOVEN FABRIC FOR EMBROIDERY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH09132882
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a ground woven fabric capable of being hydrolyzed in a dissolution process without damaging embroidered fibers, excellent in embroidery stability and shape stability, and facilitating the treatment of waste water, when the ground woven fabric produced from fibers melt-spun from a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in mechanical weather resistance and hydrolyzability is embroidered or when the ground woven fabric is superposed on a net gauze woven fabric and subsequently mechanically embroidered.

CONSTITUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition comprising one or more of a polyester, a polyesterether and a polyester compound and a diacid compound containing an alkali metal or alkaline earth metal in an amount of 2-40mol.% based on the whole diacid components is spun and subsequently woven into a woven fabric. The polymer in the woven fabric is hydrolyzed with an alkali aqueous solution having a concentration of 0.1-2.0wt.%, and fibers used as embroidery fibers are not damaged.
