Title:
GUARDING TERMINAL EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2978756
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain sure maintenance of sensors and to improve the reliability of guard.
SOLUTION: A sensor managing part 2 monitors outputs from respective sensors 11 to 1n and outputs the information S1 of a sensor detecting a fire, an entering/leaving person or the like. A non-operation time measuring part 4 receives the output of a timer 3 and the sensor information S1 and measure the non-operation time of each sensor. A non-operation time data storing part 5 stores non-operation time data to be previously set fault judging references in accordance with the sorts of sensors and their set positions. A fault judging part 6 periodically compares the non-operation time of each sensor with the non-operation time data stored in the storing part 5, and if there is a sensor exceeding the value of the non-operation time data, the sensor is judged as a defective sensor and fault information S2 is outputted. Simultaneously, the counting part 4 is controlled so as to clear the non-operation time of the sensor and restart the measuring of non-operation time.
