Abstract:
PURPOSE:To judge the position of an unmanned tractor by receiving signals from two ultrasonic oscillators and calculating distances from said oscillators. CONSTITUTION:The two ultrasonic oscillators 3 and 4 are arranged in such a way that they sandwich a work section and they go through to the advance direction (c) of the tractor. When a command wave oscillator 6 gives an oscillation command, respective ultrasonic wave oscillators 3 and 4 generate ultrasonic waves to the ultrasonic wave distance-measuring device 5 of the tractor. At that time, the oscillators 3 and 4 can be discriminated by delaying a timing which one oscillator generates. The ultrasonic wave distance-measuring device 5 calculates the distances from respective oscillators 3 and 4 from the transmission speed of the ultrasonic waves and a time from said oscillation command to the reception of the ultrasonic waves, and the position of the tractor in the work section is judged.
