Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a braid having a uniform structure and good mechanical performances by stabilizing the position of a braid compositional point in relation to the peripheral direction of a mandrel even when the direction of the axis of the mandrel changes at the time of operating a braider and maintaining the braiding angle constant.
SOLUTION: This guide for stabilizing the composition of a braider is obtained by moving a mandrel(m), crossing and turning plural yarns Y crossed over a bobbin carrier C and the mandrel(m) around the mandrel(m) and attaching the yarns to a braider BR for composing a braid on the mandrel(m) and comprises a yarn guide ring 1 for enabling the mandrel(m) arranged at the front in the compositional direction of the braid of the turning surface of the yarns to pass therethrough and a supporting member attached to the braider body and supporting the yarn guide ring 1. The yarn guide ring 1 is moved following to the movement of the mandrel(m) so as to always make the surface surrounded by the ring intersect the axis of the mandrel(m) at nearly right angles thereto.
