PURPOSE: To provide a guiding mark image processing type driving device which can positively identify the mark for guiding, improve measurement accuracy, and prevent generation of erroneous operation.
CONSTITUTION: In the title device where a mark 8 displayed on a road surface 9 is detected by a camera, the brightness distribution of the image is processed by an image processor and the position of the mark 8 is discriminated, and then the driving device is guided and drive along the mark based on the identification. The mark 8 displayed on the road surface 9 is displayed with a color, for example, black whose brightness for the road surface 9 is small and whose brightness difference with the road surface is large. Therefore, since the mark 8 is displayed with a color, for example, black whose brightness for the road surface 9 is small and whose brightness difference with the road surface is large, an image becomes clear when it is picked up by a camera and is subjected to image processing and hence measurement accuracy is improved.
