Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the title gutter from being damaged, by a method wherein when large force is applied to the gutter in vertically downward direction by fallen snow on the gutter, a specified section between flowing-down pipes is opened downward and the snow is allowed to fall.
CONSTITUTION: A place between the most lowest part 1a of a gutter 1 of which the cross section is almost in the shape of a half circle and a gutter sideedge 1b is cut in longitudinal direction, and a cutout part is formed ranging from the both ends of a cut line to the tip edge of the gutter 1. A blocking member 3 for covering the cutout part is provided, a shaft 4 is protrusively provided on the blocking member 3 and the cutout part is pivotally joined. In this way, the blocking member 3 is formed so as to hinge downward. When a specified weight is applied to the blocking member 3 by fallen now on the gutter 1, the blocking member 3 hinges downward against the spring force of a coil spring 5, and the snow on the blocking member 3 is allowed to fall. Therefore, although formed with simple structure, the gutter for fall of the snow can be prevented from being damaged by the falling snow.
