PURPOSE: To allow a person to observe the video image of the back hair of his own in front of him by arranging a receiver receiving a picture signal from an image pickup device installed in front of the person opposite to the image pickup device and using the image pickup device to pick up the back hair of the person.

CONSTITUTION: The image pickup device 1 is positioned at the back side of a head 13 of a person to pick up the image of a back hair of the head 13 of the person. The video image of the picked-up back hair is displayed simultaneously on a receiver 2 placed in front of the person. Since the back hair of the person is displayed on the receiver 2 in front as being observed from the back side, the person easily recognizes the state of the back hair. The device 1 is supported by a rotary support, a holder 3 is provided on the device 1 and the device 1 is turned at the back side of the head 13 of the person by turning an attaching member 9 with an arm 5 and a turning reception base 6. The distance between the device 1 and the back hair is adjusted by moving the head 13 in the forward/backward direction, or it is also possible to provide a function adjusting the holder 3 and the arm 5 so as to be extended.
