Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent a part acting also as a grip from becoming hot by heat inside a main body case to be easily held in a portable hair drier in which the part on the back side part of a front end part in an outer surface of the main body case 2 acts as the grip.
CONSTITUTION: A main body case 2 is composed of an inner cylinder 10 having a heater 3 and a blow part 5 inside, and an outer cylinder 11 of a bottom- equipped cylindrical form provided on the outer side of the inner cylinder 10 through an outer air introducing passage 42. An outer side suction port 4 is provided at a front end part of the main body case 2, and the outer side suction port 4 is communicated with the inside of the inner cylinder 10 by the outer air introducing passage 42. The outer cylinder 11 is cooled from the inside by outer air introduced through the outer air introducing passage 42, so that the outer air in the outer air introducing passage 42 becomes a heat insulation layer, thereby heat of a heater 3, etc., is not transmitted to the outer cylinder 11 to prevent heating of the outer cylinder 11.
