Title:
HALOGENATED SILVER PHOTOSENSITIVE MATERIAL AND IMAGE FORMING METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH11249271
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce a yellow minimum density rise when the processing time is shortened by providing one color image forming layer containing at least a pigment donating material and a specific quantity of photosensitive halogenated silver having a specific silver chloride content on a carrier, and containing a specific non-coloring and water-insoluble compound.

One color image forming layer containing a pigment donating material and photosensitive halogenated silver 0.001 g/m2 having the silver chloride content of 80 mole % or above is provided on a carrier, and it contains a non-coloring and water-insoluble compound expressed by a formula, where X indicates the electron attractive group having the Hammett's substitutional group constant σp value of 0.25 or above, Y indicates the alkylene group having carbon atoms of 1-4 in the principle chain, and Z indicates a nonmetallic atom group required to form a five to seven-membered nonaromatic heterocyclic ring together with nitrogen atom. When substitutable nitrogen atom exists in Z, the nitrogen atom is substituted with (-Y'-X'), X' indicates the same group as X, Y' indicates the same group as Y, X and X' may be the same, and Y and Y' may be the same.
