A handle for locking includes a shaft member 3 for operating a door keylock, a handle body 5 rotatably provided in the shaft member 3, and a button member 7 provided in the handle body 5. An operation member 11 of the shaft member 3 is provided with protruding pieces 27,29. A cylindrical part 67 of the button member 7 is formed with grooves 69,71. The button member 7 is energized in a direction of being separated from the operation member 11 with a spring 77. The button member 7 is pushed in against the energization force, so that the grooves 69,71 of the cylindrical part 67 and the protruding pieces 27,29 of the operation member 11 are engaged with each other and the handle body 5 and the shaft member 3 can be rotated integrally.
