To provide a handloom capable of quickly and easily conducting warp traveling operations, excellent in containabiity and transportability, and easily usable in ordinary households, demonstrations of weaving or braiding operations, or the like.

This handloom has an upper loom 1 and a lower leg 2 where a pair of thread guards 4, 4 and another pair of thread guards 4', 4' are disposed so as to stand against each other, respectively. The handloom has such a scheme that the outer peripheral distance mutually connecting the above thread guards 4, 4, 4', 4' is designed to be extensibly regulated; a loopy warps 5 are set up sideways on the thread guards 4, 4, 4', 4' in such a state that the outer peripheral distance is contracted, and then tensioned by extending the outer peripheral distance.
