Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handpiece for laser treatment apparatus which facilitates the exact inlet of a laser beam by precisely controlling the position between a laser beam axis and tubes or other laser beam transmission paths even if a laser tip at an exit end of the laser beam is very small and is particularly useful in the field of odonto party, oral surgery, etc.
SOLUTION: This handpiece consists of a main body portion and a laser tip T which is disposed at the end of this main body portion and irradiates an irradiation area with the laser beam. The main body portion which focuses the laser beam and transmits the laser beam to the laser tip has the first and second body tubes 2 and mirror holders M and H. A lens supported by a lens holding mechanism having a position regulating means for parallel moving the optical axis of the lens and adjusting the angle thereof is housed into first body tube 1. The mirror holder is internally provided with a mirror for reflecting the laser beam focused by the lens to the axial direction at the center of the laser tip. The laser tip comprises a hollow needle body subjected to gold plating on the inner wall.
