To provide a hanger to be used in an automatic distribution system in which light is applied at an angle of about 45deg. to the hanger being moved by a conveyor or the like composed so that data can be correctly and securely read by a scanner, and that they can be combined with each other without generating useless space between the hangers.

This hanger 1 is provided with a clothing support part 2 for supporting clothing, a hook part 3 continuously provided from the clothing support part 2 roughly above a center part of it, and a tag attaching piece 4 continuously provided from a base part 301 of the hook part 3 on which a bar code tag piece having various data is installed. The tag attaching piece 4 is plate-shaped as a whole, and it is formed to be continuous from the base part 301 of the hook part 3 to form an angle of about 45deg., to a thickness direction of the hanger 1.
