Abstract:
To obtain a hard board which is lightweight, easy to handle excellent in rigidity/mechanical performances, friendly to an environment, readily disposable, to provide a method for efficiently producing the same and to obtain a high-performance partition composed of the hard board.
This hard board comprises a fiber interlaced body containing a polyvinyl alcohol-based main fiber having ≥100°C water dissolution temperature. The main fibers are mutually bonded with a polyvinyl alcohol-based binder having 65-98°C water dissolution temperature to give the hard board having ≥1,000 μm thickness.
