To solve the problems of a conventional double reaping combine harvester comprising the traveling of the combine harvester on the middle part of culm reaped by a 2nd blade and left on the field followed by the traveling on the culm left on the field in the following reaping of the adjacent culm row to increase the scattered state of the culm, and the increase of the mixing of straw dust, and the like, in the sorted grains caused by the shortening of the culm length reaped by the 2nd reaping blade and the lowering of the reaping position of the 1st reaping blade to increase the reaped length of the culm and perform the threshing/sorting of the culm together with the ear by the thresher to decrease the scattered state.

Grain parts at the top of the culm reaped with the 1st reaping blade 6 are supplied to the starting end of a transfer conveyor 4 and transferred to a thresher to perform the threshing and sorting operations. The middle part of the culm reaped with the 2nd reaping blade 7 placed behind and below the 1st reaping blade 6 is treated with a culm scraping device 8 and transferred and discharged to a side of the vehicle 1.
