Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a header for an equipment for milking a cow or the like, from the discharge duct of which milk is accurately discharged in a state of a regular and accelerated flow without turbulence and stagnation.
SOLUTION: This header 6 for a milking equipment has a flow regulator 1 for collecting each of milk flows and converting them into a single, uniform circumferential flow being headed for a discharging duct 17 as well as a milk- collecting bell 15 closed by upper walls 4, 5, milk-arriving ducts 9 having circumferential mouths 8 fixed on the upper walls and a discharge duct 17 fixed on the bell. The flow regulator has an inverse mushroom-shaped body 2 having a stem 3 for installing the body 2 on the header 6, an upper circular rim 7 and a dish-shaped bottom portion 12 joined with the upper rim. The upper circular rim 7 has a smaller diameter than the inside diameter of the bell 15 and stands in row by the mouth 8 so as for the outer surface of the rim to form a single and continuous circular passage 14 along with the inside surface of the bell 15.
