To eliminate a main cause of a measurement error caused by remaining of adhering air in a transportation conduit when a measuring means measures physical quantity related to excreta by forcibly exhausting the adhering air adhering to the inner surface of the transportation conduit through the transportation conduit with a forcible air exhausting means.
A forcible air exhausting means for forcibly exhausting adhering air adhering to the inner surface of the transportation conduit is provided. The forcible air exhausting means exhausts the adhering air in the same direction as that of transportation of excreta from the transportation conduit. The exhausting means exhausts the adhering air in the opposite direction to that of transportation of excreta from the transportation conduit. In this case, the adhering air is exhausted avoiding a measuring means, and therefore, causes of a measurement error caused by contact between the measuring means and the adhering air can be removed. In addition, the forcible air exhausting means adds pressure to the adhering air by increasing flow rate in the transportation conduit, and can forcibly exhaust it. In addition, components used for the transportation of the excreta, such as a syringe pump, can be used as it is to prevent increase of cost.
