A heat developable color photographic sensitive material with a photosensitive silver halide emulsion, a binder and a dye imparting compd. of the formula (Dye-X)q-Y on the substrate is imagewise exposed. After or during the exposure, the sensitive material is put on a diffusible dye fixing material contg. a fading inhibitor and a polymer mordant as well as a small amt. of water in the presence of a base and/or its precursor and heat development is carried out to form an image on the dye fixing material. At this time, a compd. of formula I is incorporated into one photographic sensitive layer of the heat developable color photographic sensitive material. In the formula I, Ra is ≥4C alkyl or the like, Rb is alkyl or the like and M is H or the like.
