To suppress increase in size.SOLUTION: A heat exchange unit (100) is the heat exchange unit of a refrigeration cycle and includes a plurality of refrigerant flow passages (120) and a flow rate adjustment part (140). In the plurality of refrigerant flow passages (120), a refrigerant flows. The flow rate adjustment part (140) is provided at least at one refrigerant flow passage (120), and adjusts the flow rate of the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant flow passage (120). The flow rate adjustment part (140) decompresses the refrigerant only in a pressure range of equal to or less than 1/20 of a maximum pressure difference value, which is a maximum value of a difference between the high pressure and the low pressure of the refrigerant that occurs during an operation of the refrigeration cycle device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
