In this heat exchanger comprising a plurality of tubes in which a refrigerant is circulated, and a header tank 31A communicated with the plurality of tubes, the header tank 31A comprises a cylindrical housing 41A configurating an outer frame of the header tank 31A, and an insertion plate 43A inserted into the housing 41A to configurate the header tank 31A with the housing 41A. The housing 41A is provided with insertion holes 53 for inserting the plurality of tubes, and the insertion plate 43A is provided with a refrigerant flow channel 63A extending in the longitudinal direction of the header tank 31A to allow the refrigerant to flow therein from the tubes through the insertion holes 53.
