Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain heat generating element, with which the heat generating material for casting having high strength can be produced without developing any trouble caused by mutual reaction between binder and the heat generating component.
SOLUTION: The heat generating element is combined of heat generating composition composed of an easily oxidizing material and an oxidant and if necessary, further, an oxidizing promotor with an organic coating. The organic coating is a capsule of polymer compound. This heat generating element is used for manufacturing the heat generating material for casting together with refractory granular material and binder and desirably, integrating with a mold. In this way, the heat generating efficiency can be improved, and since this element can simultaneously be molded with mold, the absorption of the moisture at the storing time can be restrained, too.
