Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump type liquid heating device configured to ensure stable operation even when a discharge temperature of a compressor may reach a maximum allowable temperature, and to provide a heat pump type water heater.SOLUTION: A heat pump type water heater including a heat pump type liquid heating device includes: a control section for controlling opening of a pressure reduction valve on the basis of a discharge pressure of a compressor; and a temperature sensor detecting a temperature of a refrigerant discharged from the compressor, or a temperature of the compressor. The control section controls the opening of the pressure reduction valve on the basis of the detected temperature when the temperature detected by the temperature sensor is a predetermined reference temperature or more.
