Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject film capable of manifesting excellent rigidity, shrinkability, hot water fusibility and impact resistance by using a composition composed of a specific elastomeric segment-containing block copolymer and other specific polymers.
SOLUTION: This heat shrinkable film has 7,000-80,000kg/cm2 tensile elastic modulus in the orienting direction and 15-80% heat shrinkage percentage at 80°C and is obtained by orienting a block copolymer composition prepared by compounding (A) a block copolymer having a plastic polymer segment and an elastomeric polymer segment at (65/35) to (90/10) weight ratio of (M1) a vinyl aromatic hydrocarbon and (M2) a conjugated diene and further peaks of tan δ present in respective temperature regions of 35-70°C and 90-125°C with (B) a block copolymer which has a polymer block consisting essentially of the component M1 and a polymer block consisting essentially of the component M2 at (65/35) to (90/10) weight ratio or (10/90) to (65/35) weight ratio of the components M1 to M2 and is other than the component A or a (non)rubber- modified styrene-based copolymer so as to provide (80/20) to (20/80) weight ratio of the components A/B.
