Title:
HEAT-SHRINKABLE POLYESTER FILM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3642229
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-shrinkable polyester film that is excellent in high- speed fitting properties and finish of shrinkage without setting the film thickness to a value greater than that of the conventional films in all possible uses including its use for a small size PET bottle.
SOLUTION: In a heat-shrinkable polyester film, a heat shrinkage ratio of the polyester film in a main shrinking direction is 20% or more after being treated in hot water at 70°C for 5 sec, 35-55% after being treated in hot water at 75°C for 5 sec and 50-60% after being treated in hot water at 80°C for 5 sec. Additionally, a label 2 formed from the film has a compressive strength which satisfies the following formula: y>x2.2 (wherein y represents a compressive strength (mN); and x represents a film thickness (μm)).
