Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To collect a large amount of heat by a method wherein solar energy is collected from the outside air during summer, and the solar energy is absorbed and stored with water.
SOLUTION: The heat source is the hot outside air, i.e., solar energy, during summer, and the heat absorbing and storing medium is water (drift ice). The temperature is raised by compressing the outside air during summer, and the compressed air of which the temperature has been raised is thermally brought into contact with running icy water to make them heat-exchange, and heated water is manufactured. Also, the temperature is lowered by expanding the compressed air being heat-exchanged, and the temperature-lowered air is brought into contact with drift ice, and cool air is manufactured. Then, stored heated water is used during winter to heat the outside air, and air for heating is manufactured. In addition, the cooled air is distributd and fed to urban houses through a heat insulated piping network during summer, and the heated air is distributed and fed through the piping network during winter.
