Ventilation holes 25 formed in a rear upper plate 23 of a casing 3 is formed in different sizes correspondingly with flames formed along a longitudinal direction of a burner 2. Cooling amount of combustion gas is regulated by changing amount of supply air to combustion gas passing through an outflow opening 27 by changing the sizes of the ventilation holes 25. The rear upper plate 23 of the casing 3 is fabricated by integrating a top plate and a rear plate so as to eliminate restriction on positions where the ventilation holes 25 are made. An upper air intake part 22 can be constituted of ventilation holes 25 having different shape, so that an appropriate amount of air corresponding to length of flame formed on a burner port of the burner 2 can be supplied.
