The heating unit comprises a presence/absence detection mechanism of the tube-like matter to be printed and a conveyance detection mechanism. Even if leaving the tube-like matter to be printed in the heating unit under the condition of not performing a printing operation for a long time, since the tube-like matter to be printed is not softened by heating more than needed, the poor conveyance in the conveyance path of the printer device can be prevented.
