This heavy machinery carrying vehicle comprises an outrigger 6 which is installed on both sides of a vehicle main body 10 and inclines the vehicle body 10, a tread 7 which is connected to the rear end of a deck 3 and used for carrying in the heavy machinery, and a winch 11 for loading the heavy machinery by pulling it with a cable. The heavy machinery carrying vehicle is provided with wheels 5 running on the tread 7 on the bottom surface, and a box-shaped detachable transport container 1 having, at the front part, a connecting part for detachably connecting the cable pulled by the winch 11. When the heavy machinery carrying vehicle is in the condition that the vehicle main body 10 is inclined by the outrigger 6, the wire of the winch 11 is connected to the connection part of the detachable transport container 1, and the detachable transport container 1 is towed by the winch 11 for loading the heavy machinery onto the deck 3 to be transferred from the tread 7 onto the deck 3.
