Abstract:
To provide a nobel heavy oil composition that can reduce the sulfur content to 0.50 mass% or less, control CCAI within a desired range, and suppress generation of sediment, even when a large amount of a heavy base material is contained.SOLUTION: The heavy oil composition comprises 10 to 25 vol.% of a base material A having a CCAI of 850 or more and a density at 15°C of 0.9600 g/cmor more, wherein the base material excludes 75 to 90 vol.% of a direct desulfurized heavy oil having latent sediment of 0.4 mass% or less, a total amount of the direct desulfurized heavy oil and the base material A is 100 vol.%, and the heavy oil composition has a sulfur content of 0.50 mass% or less, a kinematic viscosity at 50°C of 60.0 mm/sec to 240.0 mm/sec, a CCAI of 870 or less, and a latent sediment of 0.1 mass% or less.SELECTED DRAWING: None
