Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a light emitting means displaying a state of line provided to a helical antenna of a radio communication equipment easily observed from every direction and not giving an adverse effect due to heat on the antenna.
CONSTITUTION: A connection section 8 having a socket 7 is fixed to a tip 6a of a cylindrical tube 6 covering a spiral hollow coil antenna wire 5 in the helical antenna 1. The helical antenna is made up of an antenna main body 2 in which an electric wire 9 interconnecting both poles of the socket 7 and a radio communication equipment is inserted through the hollow part of the tube 6, a light emitting section 3 comprising a lamp 11 whose base 12 is screwed in the socket 7 removably and a protection cap 4 covering the lamp 11 and fitted to the connection section 8. The lamp 11 is lighted when a data re-transmission rate is increased to display a defective line state and since the lamp 11 is placed at the tip of the antenna main body 2, the lamp is easily observed from any direction and excellent heat dissipation is attained, then adverse effect due to heat generation is not caused.
