Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fit a lower cover to a jet-type helmet without the need of after- working.
SOLUTION: This jet-type helmet has such structure that an attachment 10 is fastened to the helmet by engaging an engaging projection 16 provided at an fastening part 11 on top end side of the attachment 10 on a positioning hole 27 provided beforehand in an attachment fastening part 25 provided for a shell 1 of the helmet by making use of the fastening part 25; a lower cover fitting part 13, a lower part of the attachment 10, in which a screwing hole 23 is beforehand provided, is laid on a cheek corner 34 of the helmet and further laid with the end part 8 of the lower cover 3; furthermore, a locking plate 30 is laid on the back face of the lower cover fitting part 13, and a decorative screw 9 is fastened with the locking plate 30, so that these are combined in the integrated form.
