To provide a high damping composition solving a problem of temperature dependency and forming a high damping member with damping performance higher than a current one while maintaining good workability.
The high damping composition comprises a diene-based polymer having no polar group, a liquid copolymer having a butadiene skeleton, and a rosin derivative. As the liquid copolymer, at least one selected from the group consisting of a liquid acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber, a liquid isoprene-butadiene rubber, and a liquid styrene-butadiene rubber is preferable. The high damping composition may comprises 100-180 pts.mass of silica per 100 pts.mass of the diene-based polymer; and 10-20 pts.mass of a silane compound per 100 pts.mass of the silica.
