Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-degree treatment method capable of easily treating a fluorine compound in a liquid containing the fluorine compound in a dissolved or suspended state without being sedimented to reduce the content thereof to an environmental standard value or less.
SOLUTION: A calcium compound is added to the fluorine compound- containing liquid wherein the fluorine compound is dissolved or suspended without being sedimented to raise the pH thereof and a phosphoric acid and/or a phosphoric acid compound is further added to the liquid to lower the pH thereof to easily treat the fluorine compound in the liquid so as to reduce the content to at least the environmental standard value of 0.8 ppm or less.
