Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-frequency induction melting furnace capable of further improving heating efficiency by reducing a loss over the whole length of a coil.SOLUTION: An energization coil 3 is wound around an outer periphery of a melting chamber 2 so that tube intervals a and b in both end part regions H and L having a predetermined number of turns from respective power feeding terminals 33 and 34 become larger than a tube interval c in a central part region S located between both the end part regions H and L. With respect to a tube 32 configuring the energization coil 3, a cross section orthogonal to an axis line in its longitudinal direction is formed in a rectangular shape, for both an outer peripheral shape and an inner peripheral shape that is a water flow channel 31.
