Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain high-tenacity and high-elastic modulus fiber from a melt anisotropic polymer excellent in weather resistance.
CONSTITUTION: The high-tenacity and high-elastic modulus fiber is obtained by applying a resin composition composed of (A) a resin represented by a polyurethane, (B) carbon black and (C) a sulfur-based peroxide decomposing agent to the high-tenacity and high-elastic modulus fiber composed of a melt anisotropic polymer. The amounts of the components based on 100 pts.wt. high- tenacity and high-elastic modulus fiber are 2-20 pts.wt. component (A), 0.5-3 pts.wt. component (B), 0.1-1 pt.wt. component (C) and 0.6-4 pts.wt. total amount of the components (B) and (C).
