Title:
HINGE FOR PENDULUM
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58120114
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain an accelerometer characterized by high sensitivity, accurated and stable performance, and high resistance against large vibrations and shocks, by constituting the hinge part by a plurality of extremely thin wires which are finished to have a uniform diameter.

CONSTITUTION: Protrusions 12 for the hinge are protruded from one side of a moving part 11 in parallel. Connecting pieces 13 are further protruded from the protrusions 12. The thickness of the connecting piece 13 measured in the direction of the short side of the moving part 11 is equal to the diameter of elastic wires 30 for the hinge. The same number of fixing parts as the number of the protrusions 12 for the hinge is required. The fixing parts 15 have an outer configuration of a quadrangular prism. A connecting piece 16 is protruded from one end of each fixing part 15. If the elastic wires 30 for the hinge are the extremely thin wires having the uniform diameter, they can be made of metal or nonmetal. However, its texture must be made in uniform quality.
