Abstract:
A support member (2) which on the side to be adhesively bonded has a frame-shaped edge region (6) in relief relative to a central region is employed. The adhesive bonding by means of the adhesive to be cured (10) takes place in the central region of the support member, whereas to keep the support member in place during the curing of the adhesive (10) a layer of contact adhesive (7) deposited onto the edge region (6) is employed. Application to the adhesive bonding of a rear-view mirror to a windscreen of a motor vehicle.
