PURPOSE: To detect the side of a test paper by making said test paper to be used asymmetric at both sides thereof.
CONSTITUTION: A urea tank 2 is formed in the ball surface of a chamber pot 1. At the same time, a box part 3 is erected, with an inserting lid 5 of a text paper 4 mounted thereto. A test paper inserting hole 15 is formed in a holder 14 in an up-and-down direction and a lateral hole 16 is opened at the rear surface of the holder 14. A pair of L-shaped levers 17, 18 are pivotally supported within the lateral hole 16 in swinging manner. The holders 17, 18 are separated in the widthwise direction of the holder 14. When the rear ends of the levers are projected from the holder 14 to butt against the lateral end of the paper 4, the rear ends sway upwards. Moreover, since there are provided sensors S1, S2 corresponding to the respective levers 17, 18 in the back of the holder 14, the test paper can be detected by turning the sensors OFF when the levers 17, 18 are at the lower position and turned ON when the levers 17, 18 are raised.
