To provide a holder for a lathe turning tool that allows a single tool to measure a state of lathe turning processing.SOLUTION: The holder for a lathe turning tool for holding a cutting insert comprises a tool main body which extends along a tool shaft and has a pedestal part to which the cutting insert is attached provided at a tip thereof and an electric module to be built into the tool main body.
