Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splash prevention method and apparatus, capable of efficiently preventing fine particles contained in a raw material from splashing to the outside of a hopper.SOLUTION: The splash prevention method for hopper, having a raw material input port 5 and a dust discharge port 12 at a top face and a dust suppression plate 20 provided along both side faces of the raw material input port 5 and covering a part of the raw material input port 5, includes: a process of sucking the inside of the hopper from the dust discharge port 12 with a dust collector 4; a process of inputting raw material from the raw material input port 5; a process of inputting the raw material and forming a negative region downward the dust suppression plate 20 as a result of outdoor inflow air flowing into from the raw material input port 5; a process of dust rising above the raw material rear face being sucked into the negative region; and a process of the dust in the negative region flowing toward the dust discharge port 12.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
