In the method of rolling the rolled material 2 by using a hot finish rolling equipment in which a plurality of rolling stands F1-F7 are successively set, the temperature of the rolling material 2 positioned between a rolling stand F6 and a rolling stand F7 is measured by a temperature measuring apparatus 3. Then the rolled material 2 is heated all over the width direction by a heating device 5 set between a rolling stand F5 and the rolling stand F6 so that the temperature measuring value T3 cannot be lower than Ar3 a transformation temperature.
